Please note that you must own a Tractor/Truck in order to qualify for this opportunity. We are an Owner Operator Fleet only. We do not own any trucks, nor do we hire direct drivers.

MUST WORK AT LEAST ONE WEEKEND DAY PER WEEK. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND SCREENING & DRUG TEST. MUST OWN HIS/HER OWN TRACTOR/18 WHEELER.

All our work comes from the world's largest online retailer and also the second largest shipper/courier. We are a preferred partner for both of these companies and are being consistently asked to expand our fleet.

We are recruiting for Local Drop & Hook, Regional Blocks consisting of 3-5 days steady work and also Regional & OTR Solo Drivers & Teams. Consistent Freight is not an issue for us. • Solo Local/Regional/OTR blocks working 3/5 days weekly.
• OTR Team working Regional & Nationwide.

About the Job:
Stripes Logistics is seeking dedicated and reliable Power-Only Tractor Owner-Operators to handle container and dry van loads within the Greater Houston area. We also have Regional Blocks which entail working for 3-6 days at a time for a certain hours a day adhering to FMCSA/DOT HOS. It allows you to rest 10 hours a day and still make a great income/revenue. This is a perfect opportunity for those with a tractor and the desire to work in a local, drop-and-hook environment and also traditional OTR and blocks. Location: Greater Houston Area.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Truck Requirements:
  • Must own a Power-Only Tractor (no trailer required).
  • Tractor should be in good condition and DOT-compliant.
• Driver’s License:
  • Valid CDL license depending on your tractor setup.
• Experience:
  • Open to all experience levels.
• Compliance:
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Position Details:

• Compensation: Depending on performance, loads completed and hours worked.
  • Earn more with consistent drops and hooks and efficient route management.
• Contract Type:
  • 1099 Independent Contractor position. You’ll be leased onto our company, but you operate independently.
• Route & Location:
  • This role is local to the Greater Houston area.
  • No touch drop-and-hook operations at various local facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Drop-and-Hook Operations:
  • Handle loads with ease in a straightforward drop-and-hook setup.
  • Pick up loaded trailers, deliver them, and hook back up to empty trailers for the next load.
• Timeliness & Efficiency:
  • Ensure timely pickups and deliveries to meet our partner organizations high standards.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and excellent communication with dispatchers and teams.
• Truck Maintenance:
  • Perform routine inspections on your tractor to ensure it's in top working condition and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Follow all safety protocols and FMCSA/DOT regulations to ensure safe and legal operation.
