Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in WordPress development and an eagerness to learn modern approaches, including ACF-based development, page builders, headless WordPress, and custom solutions. You will work closely with senior developers and designers to build high-quality, scalable, and performance-optimized websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites based on project requirements
• Work with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to build flexible, dynamic websites
• Build and customize websites using page builders such as Salient Theme, Elementor, and WPBakery
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive WordPress websites
• Assist in building headless WordPress implementations
• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
• Work on eCommerce websites using WooCommerce
• Support development of membership, subscription, and custom WordPress solutions
• Implement frontend functionality using JavaScript and jQuery
• Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness
• Debug issues and perform basic troubleshooting
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong understanding of WordPress CMS and theme structure
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery for frontend functionality
• Experience working with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Salient, etc.)
• Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Basic knowledge of Git/version control is preferred
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new technologies and best practices

Good to Have

• Experience with WooCommerce development
• Knowledge of headless WordPress (REST API / GraphQL)
• Basic understanding of website performance optimization
• Experience with membership or subscription-based websites
• Familiarity with SEO best practices
• Basic understanding of hosting environments and deployments
