About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness - NJ/MA One World Fitness as a Weekday Opener! This exciting role is perfect for early risers who are passionate about fitness and customer service, helping create a welcoming environment for our members from 5am to 11am.

Responsibilities:

• Open the gym, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all members.
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
• Assist members with check-in and provide exceptional customer service.
• Monitor gym activities, ensuring adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Handle member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages member engagement.
• Support team members in daily operations and special events.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with ordering as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service or fitness environment is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends.
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and gym operations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
• Passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
