HYBRID DOWTOWN CHICAGO

PORTFOLIO REQUIRED

12 MONTH CONTRACT, 40 hours a week, paid weekly

A financial services client’s Research group is seeking a Mixed Methods Researcher with a strong track record of designing and executing end‑to‑end research strategies that support innovation, discovery, and early‑stage concept development. This individual is fluent in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and excels at translating ambiguous problem spaces into structured learning plans that drive strategic decision‑making.

This role will be focused on supporting a visual refresh of a mobile banking application , with an emphasis on usability, clarity, and trust within a high‑stakes financial context.

MUST HAVE Skills

• PORTFOLIO
• 5-10 years of UX research in enterprise
• Qualitative research - portfolio showcasing
• Quantitative research
• Usability testing

Nice to Haves

• Experience within financial services and/or banking
• Ability to partner effectively with Design Systems teams to evaluate component usability, visual consistency, and system‑level experience quality across touchpoints
• Strong understanding of mobile interaction patterns , platform conventions, and accessibility standards
• Experience evaluating visual and brand expression through research , including how design impacts trust, clarity, accessibility, and emotional response—particularly in financial products

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
