Overview
Travel Surgical Tech opportunity in Atlanta, GA. Position: Surgical Tech with a focus on operative scrub duties in a Level 1 trauma center within a hospital-based travel assignment. Start date is 04/20/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $1,240 to $1,301 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is a day shift on a 12-hour, 3-day-per-week schedule that includes on-call responsibilities, weekends, and holidays. This assignment emphasizes travel experience and high skill proficiency in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in operative procedures across diverse surgical specialties
- Maintain sterile technique and manage the sterile field throughout cases
- Pass instruments and respond to the surgeon’s instrument and supply needs
- Set up and pre-check equipment, implants, and supplies for planned procedures
- Conduct instrument counts with OR staff and document intraoperative events as required
- Collaborate with anesthesia, circulating nurses, and surgical team to support patient safety and efficiency

Requirements
- Previous travel surgical tech experience
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- High proficiency in surgical skills with strong instrument handling and sterile technique
- Burn surgery experience preferred
- Ability to work a day shift with on-call obligations, including weekends and holidays
