Temporary Scanning Clerk Glendale, California Lewis Roca is a top ranked Am Law 200 commercial law firm and one of the largest in the Western United States. We are seeking a Temporary Scanning Clerk to join our team! Summary: We are looking for a Temporary Scanning Clerk to assist with scanning physical documents to produce digital copies for record retention purposes. This entry level position requires acute attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to perform repetitive and monotonous tasks throughout the entirety of the shift. The job is expected to last approximately 11-months or around December 31, 2024. Work hours will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. These positions are not remote and all work will be performed in an office environment in our Glendale office. Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform clerical tasks - scanning, maintaining, and retrieving records and work files.
- Scan, verify accuracy, and upload documents into databases.
- Box vital records, record contents, and prepare for offsite storage.
- Ability to lift file boxes (approximately 40 lbs.), carry, push, pull, reach, stoop, and climb to complete moderately demanding physical activities.
Education and Experience: - High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledgeable in various types of filing systems and methodologies.
- Competency with computers and computer storage systems such as a flatbed scanner and electronic document systems that scan hundreds of pages at one time.
