Hourly pay range $40-45
Entry-level Data Engineer
* An entry-level data engineer typically has a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 2-3 years' experience in Cisco router & switch technology.
* Work on data engineering projects under the guidance of more experienced data engineers.
* Procure hardware necessary to complete assigned project.
* Configure and deploy routers and switches using provisioning templates.
* Maintain data integrity in data network management tools like SolarWinds and ISE.
* Provision and deploy Cisco wireless hardware.
* Configure out of band terminal servers.
* Review the accuracy of drawings with as built network.
* Audit third party WAN circuits to determine opportunities for cost savings.
Junior Data Engineer
* A junior data engineer has 3-7 years' experience in data engineering and is proficient in Cisco route and switch technologies.
* They may work on more complex projects and have more responsibility for designing and implementing data solutions.
* Prepare engineering job packages consisting of BOM equipment lists, network diagrams installation instructions.
* Able to troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to network changes.
* Responsible for implementing intermediate level changes, commissioning routers at substations and operation centers.
* Experience with Cisco Telephony technologies, primarily Cisco Call Manager DID provisioning
* Developed expertise in in one or more programming languages.
ASSIGNMENT RELATED INFORMATION:
· Assignment Duration: 12-months
· Mobility Classification: Hybrid; 3-days onsite per week
· Full or Part Time: Full
· Work hours of Requested Position: M-F, 8-5
· Education Requirement: Associate Degree / Technical Degree or Military Experience
