Job Description

The Nevada State Public Health Laboratory is seeking atemporary reliableand professional student worker to join our teamto supportdaily laboratory operations by performing specimen transport to and from local hospitals and reference laboratories and ensuring accurate receipt entry and reporting of sample data. This role also provides support with basic accounting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry

  • Answer and direct phone calls and general inquiries

  • Pick up samples from hospitals and reference labs

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled at the University of Nevada Reno

  • Must have Valid Drivers License

  • Customer Service experience

  • Data Entry; Typing at 45 to 60 WPM

  • Dependable and detail-oriented

  • Organization and time management skills

Schedule

Availability during standard business hours (Monday - Friday 7:30 am 5:00 pm).
