RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Assist Controller with month-end close and reporting
·Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries
·Understand and implement accounting rules and regulations and apply them into the accounting processes
·Accomplish variance analysis and review of General Ledger
·Accounts Payable functions experience
·Support internal customers by serving as the point of contact for any questions related to financial results
·Work with along with broker to maintain proper company insurance
QUILIFICATIONS:
·2-5 years in Accounting required
·Education: Bachelor&rsquos degree in Accounting or Finance required
·Maintain ongoing training relevant to any new upgrade in accounting pronouncements
·Proficient in computer skills in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel preferred), Outlook, Word, QuickBooks, etc.
·Knowledge and understanding of Accounting Principles & Terminology
·Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
·Build effective and constructive relationships
·Conduct a thorough search for relevant information when approaching problems
·Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
