Job Title: Senior Associate Digital Marketing Specialist Vokey Wedges

Salary Range: $59,000 - $73,000/Annual; Plus bonus eligibility

Summary: The Associate Digital Marketing Specialist Vokey Wedges will develop and enhance our premium customer experience through the digital journey and will define, create, and evolve the Vokey digital customer experience for the Vokey Merchandise Store. The position is responsible for aligning the full customer journey with the Vokey brand promise including on-site UX, product and content creation, inventory planning and merchandising, analytics, and communication. This position will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Supply, Finance and Operations colleagues, and will manage the product catalog to ensure that our DTC experience accurately reflects our product offerings, by coordinating the aggregation of website product copy, photography, and other related assets that are critical to supporting go-to-market activities of our high-end, innovative product offerings. This role will develop merchandising strategies that increase conversions and engagements in order to help achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the seasonal launch of each category of product including developing, creating, and sourcing new products. Managing creation of product images, item data uploads and merchandising. Manage merchandising plans and activities to maximize Vokey store sales, sell-thru, margin, and inventory turnover by utilizing analytics and collaborating with colleagues across functions. This includes handling website product content, managing the launch of Vokey store products globally, and streamlining accurate product catalog input.
  • Leads the overall Vokey eCommerce strategy including the customer UX and purchasing journey, managing calendar for seasonal launches and marketing activation and assist Marketing Director in the management of the eCommerce P&L. Collaborate with internal and external business partners on product category objectives and develop the product, strategy, plans and budgets to achieve goals.
  • Maintain suite of reporting tools to effectively benchmark eCommerce performance and communicate to stakeholders. Review sales analytics daily and weekly to identify trends and opportunities in sales and customer experience. Partner with the Acushnet eCommerce Center of Excellence to seek new ways to improve the Vokey platform by assessing landscape, strategies and best practices and evaluate new, emerging technologies and applications. Ensure compliance to all data security, credit card, and other reporting functions.
  • Partner with both internal and external resources to develop and execute successful digital marketing efforts that drive traffic and conversion on the Vokey store. Continuously audit the websites to ensure product and content integrity. Oversee all vendor and agency relationships necessary to execute a best-in-class eCommerce experience including the evaluation, selection, and monitoring of such relationships. Perform hands-on updates and analysis (content uploading, analytics monitoring, merchandising and DTC best practices). Work closely with partners in marketing, supply chain, and operations to support and optimize product lifecycle management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years marketing, eCommerce, or related customer service experience. Experience with catalog management, site merchandising, placing/processing purchase orders, analyzing/reconciling orders and processing payments is highly preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills: self-directed and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and adhering to various deadlines. Strong understanding of digital landscape (online merchandising, digital marketing, web development) and of the metrics that drive value in an eCommerce business (traffic, inventory, etc.). Numeric and analytic aptitude, with proficiency in Excel. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar eCommerce platform preferred. Must demonstrate exceptional accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; Requires minimal supervision; Displays understanding of how job relates to others; Uses resources effectively. Builds rapport up, down, and across the organization; Establishes both internal and external collaborative relationships to achieve objectives; Seeks win-win solutions; Strong understanding of both the marketing and UX functionality of an e-commerce site and the supporting operational elements such as transaction flow, inventory, shipping, returns, customer service, etc. Skilled in both customer acquisition and retention marketing. A track record of successfully collaborating with other functional areas (Marketing, Distribution, Finance, etc.) is required. Must possess strong leadership skills and experience. A willingness to be both strategic and provide a hands-on as needed approach is important to success in the role.
