What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors verifying identification and/or access credentials and following site-specific security-related procedures for an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity manage visitor check-in and sign-in processes and communicate access requests deliveries and/or guest arrivals to appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report relevant details through required logs systems and/or chain-of-command notifications.
• Answer phones support badge and key control processes when assigned and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of front desk activity and following post orders.
• Complete required documentation maintain accurate visitor and incident records and assist with emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
