As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol Driver in Katy TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol a busy retail location helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence strong communication and responsive service. This armed and driving post offers the opportunity to support daily operations interact with the public and contribute to a caring reliable team that values integrity innovation and teamwork.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior hazards and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances exits high-traffic areas and/or loading zones to support access control observe unusual activity and assist with incident response.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal policies maintaining professional presence and readiness for assigned armed responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement corrections or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
