Job Summary:

This remote temporary Research Assistant position is responsible for updating directory databases in preparation for publishing Tennessee Attorneys Directory, Tennessee Government Officials Directory and other directories, such as state specific Bankers Directories. This role is from 4/6/2026 to 8/7/2026.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Update data from returned surveys that were sent to those listed in the directories
• Make phone calls and send emails to those who don’t return their surveys in order to update their records
• Use research tools like internet search engines, websites such as whitepages.com and directory assistance to develop leads on attorneys who have left their jobs without leaving a forwarding address
• Send faxes or emails to various offices that request them

The Individual:

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Solid computer skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills with good telephone demeanor

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Background in the legal field is a plus
