Pay Rate: $60.00 $63.00/hr

Schedule: 1st Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
On-Call: Required

Requirements: Active RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse OR Circulator for a 13-week contract assignment in Grants, New Mexico. This role requires a skilled perioperative nurse who can support surgical procedures, maintain patient safety, coordinate with the surgical team, and respond confidently in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care to surgical patients
Verify patient identity, consent, surgical site, and procedure details
Prepare the OR suite with required supplies, instruments, and equipment
Maintain aseptic technique and support a safe surgical environment
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, scrub staff, and PACU teams
Document intraoperative care, supplies, specimens, implants, and patient responses
Assist with patient transfer and handoff after procedures
Participate in on-call, callback, emergency, and holiday coverage as needed
Requirements
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license required
Compact nursing license accepted
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
OR Circulator experience strongly preferred
Experience with general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, endoscopy, or trauma preferred
Cerner EMR experience preferred
CNOR certification preferred
Must be comfortable working in a small hospital or resource-limited setting
