Adult Education Administrator
for the Adult Learning Institute (ALI)

LOCATION(S): Adult Education - Literacy and Career Programming
Qualifications required N.Y.S Certification, Administration
tasks: The Adult Education Administrator is responsible for coordination and implementation of Adult Career and Tech and Literacy Programs. The right candidate will act as a principal for the Adult Learning Institute (ALI), planning/developing and scheduling programs, maintaining a safe school environment, and communicating with the faculty, staff, students and the community regarding the expectations of the courses. The ideal candidate will connect with community agencies and develop partnerships to increase both number of students and attendance in adult literacy and career and tech classes. Interaction with the community and partnering with agencies is essential to the development of programs, so the ideal candidate will have excellent communication expertise and is expert at following up on potential opprotunities.
In addition, the person will support the development of flyers, hiring of staff, program development, discipline, and ensure compliance for our grant funded programs. Familiarity with grants and budgeting procedures is a plus in this job offer.
