Job Description
Randstad is seeking a professional and empathetic Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join a growing healthcare practice. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in providing a seamless, high-quality healthcare experience by managing the flow of the front office with efficiency and care.
salary: $17 - $20 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities - Patient Coordination: Greet patients, manage the check-in/check-out process, and capture accurate demographic information.
- Scheduling: Coordinate complex appointment calendars and follow-up visits using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Insurance Verification: Verify provider coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and explain co-pays or deductibles to patients.
- Financial Oversight: Securely collect and record patient co-pays and balances at the time of service.
- Communication: Manage multi-line phone systems, handle patient inquiries, and facilitate pharmacy or lab requests.
Requirements - Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a medical front office or clinical setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with EHR software (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Athena, or Epic) and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Soft Skills: Ability to remain calm and organized in a high-volume, patient-facing environment.
