About Dog Tag At Dog Tag Inc., we’re more than a nonprofit — we’re a mission-driven organization that harnesses the power of business to create a more inclusive and equitable world for veterans, military spouses, and caregivers. Our unique model combines a social enterprise bakery located in the heart of Georgetown, Washington, DC, with a world-class fellowship program, offering real-world experience, community, and education to those who have served or supported someone who has. Our storefront, Dog Tag Bakery, serves as a living business school, where fellows apply what they’re learning in the classroom to a real operating business. Through this integrated model, Dog Tag provides a supportive environment for veterans and military families to discover new paths forward — whether launching their own ventures, pursuing meaningful employment, or growing as leaders and changemakers. Why Dog Tag? What makes Dog Tag truly unique is our holistic approach to social impact. We don’t just serve great food; we provide a supportive environment for veterans and their families to thrive, grow, and connect. Our values of service, entrepreneurship, empowerment, and respect guide everything we do — from the way we interact with our team to the way we engage with our customers. As part of our growing team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a mission that’s bigger than baking. You’ll help empower individuals, change lives, and make an impact every day. This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to contribute to a legacy that transforms the lives of veterans, military families, and caregivers while serving delicious food to the community.
