Job Description

Join us and help keep our hotel clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We are hiring a Laundry Attendant to ensure that all areas of the hotel are kept properly stocked with clean laundry items. This position is essential to delivering an outstanding guest experience and maintaining high cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities Sort linens for washer and remove stains from badly soiled items.

• Operate and maintain washers and dryers properly and safely.
• Fold all linens to property standards.
• Wash bedspreads, bed pads and blankets per instruction from supervisor.
• Keep laundry area neat, organized and clean.
• Handle all laundry chemical products properly and advise Executive Housekeeper of inventory levels.
• Assist Housekeeping Staff in other areas when laundry is slow or work is caught up.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas (hallways, laundry room, chemical rooms).
• Assist co-workers when your help is needed. Clean rooms as needed.
• Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other amenities.
• Listen and respond professionally to guests’ requests or complaints.
• Show up for work in a clean uniform with nametag. Arrive at work each day with a positive attitude and maintain that attitude throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• Hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but no experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Must be available for weekends, nights, and holidays
