What To Expect
The role of an Inside Sales Advisor is to educate, inspire and skilfully guide Tesla’s potential customers through the vehicle configuration and order process. Inside Sales Advisors have the incredible opportunity to advise Tesla clients nationwide, utilising their abilities in lead qualification to target specific talking points for Tesla vehicles to capture new sales opportunities and convert leads to test drive and/or sale. We expect members of this team to become experts in our products and the direct-from-manufacturer sales model that has made Tesla an innovator in the automotive industry, while also developing the acumen needed to excel as a virtual sales representative. The Inside Sales team is at the epicentre of Tesla sales activity, you’ll work with your own customers but also support those already speaking with other teams across the country, closing your own sales but also those of your colleagues.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to understand the needs of a new customer and explain how our products will enrich their daily lives. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic about our business and products who’s able to convey this passion over the telephone and online livechat, to build customer excitement through the sales journey, always representing our top-tier brand with the highest integrity.

What You'll Do Capture Opportunities: Pick up the phone to speak with our current and prospective customers on inbound calls. Also working with online livechat, email and 3rd party marketplaces such as Autotrader, Carwow, Leaseloco, etc, to capture new sales opportunities and qualify incoming enquiriesFollow-up: Using the above to build an established pipeline of customers looking to purchase, maintaining contact cadence to ensure they are well informed and move along the sales journey to test drive or purchaseInspire: Truly understand the Tesla brand and mission to inspire customers who will make well informed purchase decisions Achieve Targets: Accomplish both personal and team weekly, monthly and quarterly targets in conjunction with the field Sales teams for wider business success Plan: Maximize and leverage time spent on the phone, plan your day to adhere to activity metrics and implement call structure for opportunity qualification and objection handling Feedback: You are the frontline speaking to customers all day, you must pass on recommendations based on direct experiences with potential clients Participate: With company meetings and customer events nationwide with occasional travel opportunities within the UK
Master: Understand industry trends and best practices, including utilisation of new technology and web resources
