We’re looking for a skilled Field Operations Technicianto join a growing team that values innovation, safety, and exceptional customer service. If you have a strong background in telecommunications, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for helping customers, this opportunity is for you.
Perform installation, repair, configuration, and testing of moves, additions, changes, and disconnects (MACD) on Nokia, Infinera, and Cienaequipment.
Support customer optical, electrical, voice, and dataservices.
Conduct circuit testing using optical time domain reflectometers (OTDR).
Install and repair internet, copper and fiber cabling, rack-mounted routers, and demarcation extensions.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues — from cable runs to card swaps and data circuit installations.
Ensure compliance with company safety programs and operational standards.
Deliver best-in-class customer service, building trust through professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
Experience in telecommunications, electronics, cabling, or fiber business installation and service.
A technical diploma or degree(preferred but not required).
Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work independently in dynamic field environments.
A positive, customer-first mindsetand ability to de-escalate concerns with professionalism.
On-call, evening, and weekendavailability required.
Physically active role — includes lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights or in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions (when safe).
