TL Jackson Construction specializes in industrial rigging, machinery moving, crane rentals, trucking, and turnkey industrial services for commercial and industrial projects throughout the York, PA region. What You'll Do as a Crane Operator

  • Operate hydraulic cranes ranging from 5-100 tons on commercial and industrial job sites.
  • Assist with machinery moving, rigging, equipment setting, and additional field support as needed.
  • Inspect cranes, rigging equipment, and job sites to ensure safe and compliant lift operations.
  • Plan and execute lifts in accordance with load charts, lift plans, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Communicate with crew members, project managers, and clients throughout project execution.
  • Travel to outdoor job sites throughout the York, PA region, typically within 30-40 minutes and occasionally up to 1-1.5 hours away.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to keep equipment job-ready.

Our Ideal Crane Operator

  • Experienced & Certified Operator: 5+ years of hydraulic crane experience with Swing Cab experience, valid NCCO Certification, and CDL A required.
  • Precision & Safety Focused: Strong understanding of load calculations, lift planning, OSHA safety standards, and reading load charts accurately.
  • Mechanically Inclined: Comfortable performing equipment inspections, identifying issues, and handling basic maintenance needs.
  • Adaptable Work Ethic: Willing to support rigging, machinery moving, and additional field tasks as project needs change.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: Works well independently and collaboratively with a crew that values professionalism, accountability, and getting the job done right.

  • Full-time position averaging 50+ hours per week
