  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, proxy statements, and beneficial ownership filings using EDGAR systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather information and ensure timely project execution
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and turnaround time
  • Act as a corporate generalist supporting a broad range of legal matters

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 4 6 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal department or top-tier law firm
  • Strong experience drafting and reviewing SEC filings (Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, 3, 4, 5, and proxy statements)
  • Experience with corporate governance documents, including board minutes and consents
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work independently
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with EDGAR or similar filing systems
  • Real estate or financial statement knowledge is a plus

Education & Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in California
  • 4 6 years of professional legal experience

Why You Should Join:

  • Work on high-impact matters within a publicly traded organization
  • Gain direct exposure to capital markets, M&A, and complex real estate transactions
  • Collaborate closely with experienced legal leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Opportunity to build a well-rounded in-house legal career with broad responsibilities
  • Fast-paced, intellectually engaging environment with meaningful ownership
  • Strong compensation structure including bonus and long-term incentives

Benefits:

  • Competitive 401(k) program with company match, including Roth and after-tax contribution options
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options
  • Life and AD&D insurance coverage
  • Company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Flexible paid time off, including sick leave and floating holidays
  • Annual performance-based bonus
  • Eligibility for long-term incentive plan (LTIP) or equity participation
