THE JOB:
As a Barista for Starbucks in Vdara, you will be responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE: $15.2518 Hourly + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or GED required
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Must be 21 years of age or older
1+ Years of prior experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant preferred
1+ Years of prior experience in a Quick Service role preferred
