Job Description

Salary: $90,500 - 90,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in automation or PLC programming.
• We look for at least 2 years of experience in PLC programming or automation engineering.
• We require practical experience in PLC-based controls design, development, implementation, and support.
• We require the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, holidays, and varying shifts.
• We value experience with ladder logic and structured programming on Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys PLC platforms.
• We prefer experience with material handling systems, including flow and capacity optimization.
• We prefer familiarity with industrial control systems across both hardware and software environments.
• We expect strong troubleshooting capability with control systems, industrial networks, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems.

• We serve as the site subject matter expert for the automation systems that support our operations.
• We maintain, troubleshoot, and improve material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks.
• We monitor equipment performance metrics and work closely with maintenance and operations teams to resolve system issues.
• We provide first-line escalation support to site technicians, both on-site and remotely.
• We perform building system assessments and analyze findings to improve material handling system performance.
• We support proactive controls automation and technical troubleshooting to maximize equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
• We work with advanced technologies such as conveyors, sortation equipment, scanners, cameras, print-and-apply systems, and SCADA tools.
• We analyze performance data and help drive innovative projects that strengthen speed and accuracy across our fulfillment centers.
